I felt like I couldn't get home at all tonight. lol.
I was kept captive in the slumber grasp of Chula-zona (that is the affectionate term) It's actually Chula Vista the suburbs or San Diego. As usual, I spend my Sunday mornings/lunch time with my Father (Father-Daughter time) so we went to the local bar/grille and had brunch and watch some football. THEN I had to head over to the other side to my friend's house to discuss details of our NY trip. We then took her car over to a restaurant. When I thought I could finally leave, my mother and stepdad met both my friend and I for lunch... After lunch and a couple of hrs of shopping, it was time to leave. I left my car at my friend's house so I hung out a few before finally heading home. CRAP! I was beyond empty so I had to find the nearest gas station to fill up.... 10 additional minutes of waiting.. THEN to make it worse, I was right by Target and I remembered I needed a few things.
To cut things short, 20 min drive to my area.. a couple of circles around the block for parking and I'm finally home.
It's only 630ish and I'm tired.
