I've been really happy the last 2 days, it's been busy, but the moments in between have been fun and good.
But today out of all days I feel good, like super, well really happy. I woke to a peace that hit my soul and gravitated me all the way down to my little toes or bear cub feet, as Max_Traffic would call them...
I've been listening to a lot of my Life Aquatic Soundtrack, which makes driving a silly adventure. I've been quite quirky and whimsical this last week too. I love living here in Arizona so far, I mean FINALLY. I thought I would never say it, but life here for me has been such a blessing and a break. I have really great friends out here, who have been really down to earth, drama-free, fun, and amazing to hang out with.
I'm a happy girl, like so happy it's scary... It's been so beautiful here too, I mean the sunsets, monsoon, the open blue skies, and the landscape of living out in Queen Creek has really gotten the best of me. Everything feels so right even though it's been chaotic in some ways with life via working, my little sister's health, my car (now better, was a false alarm), job-hunting, and some finances.
The moments in betweens seem to last a longer impression on me then usual and it's been good. I've been taking in all my lazy moments I have had to just really soak up my environment and simple pleasures of dorking out to my guilty pleasures. Cooking, baking, watching tons of movies/anime, and grocery shopping (I <3 grocery shopping esp. Trader Joes) brings out the best in me. I baked cookies the other day, watch anime and Underworld with this really cool, dorky, and geeky boy.
(minus the fact that he owns 18 snakes he's awesome
). The next day I went on a cookie run and had dinner with my friends Jen and Jay it was nice.
I guess a geeky boy I get to bake cookies for and watch anime with can make me happy.
So I'll keep my moving out to Seattle goals on hold for a while, until I'll find some reason to hate Arizona, but so far it's hard.
