It was a geezer New Year for me & all of mine. I saw my friends this week before all you crazies hit the street. blush Not one of us reported the traditional New Years hang over until I got to work. Once there I witnessed the twenty-somethings and their pain.

Older can be wiser! Yeah for geezers! biggrin

Hope the year brings us all happiness. ::kisses...

Is that your REAL birthday??? wink

I bet it was more exciting in the Springs then it was in LA.

It amazes me how few to no organized celebrations are held in Downtown.

Ya know what, it's just really freaking cold here.

My memories have obviously been colored with a youth filled with sleigh rides and snowmen. The reality, rather, was just below freezing temperatures that I can't even comprehend anymore. There wasn't even any snow. Just cold, cold, cold.

I'm a bad, bad SGer, I know. I haven't been updating, or spending much time here this week.

I'm getting set to go home to Wisconsin for the holidays, unexpectedly might I add. What can I say? 2000 miles and multiple levels of technological avoidance were no match for good old-fashioned Catholic guilt. My Mom is amazing ( & actually quite evil).

Oh well, White...

Another hellish night for Rock N Roll:

I also made sure to include the news on my page when I read about it this morning. It's a sad day. I think I'll honor the dead by listening to some Pantera.

All this & the person who normally cheers me up is worse off...

Damn. I'm incorrigible!

I got done at work at 10 (I love the getting-out-early part of this gig) and cut to the pub for "a quick dinner" which turned into two hours. It was such a nice night with just the perfect few friends that I couldn't resist.

Home around midnight, telling myself that I have GOT to go straight to bed (still tired &...

Thanks so much for sharing your experiences with me. I'm a long way from getting myself figured out, but you have no idea how nice it is to hear from people who aren't just saying, "I'm sure you'll work it out." I haven't broken up with her yet, because I need some time to think about us when I'm not so frustrated. I do agree, though, that if I decide that breaking up is the best thing, I should stick to it. Doesn't do either one of us any good to keep going.

Again, thanks a lot for helping. It's really nice to get your perspective. smile
