Ya know what, it's just really freaking cold here.
My memories have obviously been colored with a youth filled with sleigh rides and snowmen. The reality, rather, was just below freezing temperatures that I can't even comprehend anymore. There wasn't even any snow. Just cold, cold, cold.
Christmas eve was complaining to a friend that I wouldn't have my white christmas after all. He warned that I just might yet, but I couldn't be convinced. When I woke up the next morning, all was white. A very nice Christmas morning surprise indeed.

Been hearing "Do They Know It's Christmas" a lot again. My answer is still they same - no, they don't, and they don't care. They're STARVING TO DEATH, and not christian anyway! Of course this comment is dated for me & my fellow geezers who remember when Simon LeBon was Mr. Cool & we were asking who this Bono guy was & whether he was related to Sonny.
