Hello SGland how goes it? It's fucking frozen and dark and early here and I am awake waiting for the gym to open. Oh the joys of being a tradesman you get to wake up so early so often even when it's a Sunday morning -4 outside you still are awake at sparrow's fart.
So what's been doing anyways? I hope all is well. What's been happening with me well about a fortnight ago my little sister/best friend came back from a 8 month stint in Mexico. She has been living in Mexico City for a semester of University. It's been weird living by myself but it's nice to have her company back. She brought back that Valentina suace, fucking epic it goes good on so much food.

some awesome day of the dead skulls she brought home.
I also entered my first mud run last weekend it was only a small one 6km's with 20 obstacles. Pretty fun I did it in 48 minutes but i think i could have easily cut 10 mins off my time if i had entered earlier. We were the first wave of runners at 11 30 and 8 people every minute had started running since 9am so there was so much traffic at the obstacles. Good on people from all walks of life for having a go but it's annoying when you are trying really hard and timing yourself and you're stuck in some deep muddy slop crawling under barbed wire and the two 40 something year old ladys in front need a rest and give up for a few minutes and the is no turning around. But i shouldn't get angry it's more about completing then racing and i suppose i should still be happy average time was 1hr15mins and i came 318 out of 3500+ people.

Our team and myself after the race.
What's some other mad shit to blog about? Queensland won this years state of origin series which continues making Australian sporting history. As most of the SG is not from Australia i doubt i can describe how big a deal this is to Rugby League fans. It was so good i was the only person in a sea of blue with a maroon jersey on until my only other queenlsand supporter mates rocked up down the pub. then when Queensland one by a point my friends were nearly in tears they thought they had broken the spell but no!

I mad some baked goods that will get you very baked yesterday.

when your butter turns this colour you know it's potent.

I am going to go eat these and go ride my bike down mt stromlo whilst blasting metal into my ears, as it looks like it shall be a nice day once the fog lifts and the frost melts. And hopefully not crash.
Well have fun people
P.S If you are unaware Randy Blythe singer of American metal band Lamb of God has been arrested in Prague for manslaughter. He needs our support people here is an article explaining the story.

So....a rugby fan. I didn't pay much attention to rugby while I was there, but footy became my obsession!
