Ok, to start off with, I'm aware my new icon featuring Feb looks a little jankity. For some reason, when I was coloring in the original doodle, I thought the icon size was 100x100. So, it was small, and instead of taking the time to start over and make it look nice, I just blew it up to the right size in Photoshop and added the black bars on the sides, which generally makes it look a bit crap, that and the drawing is fuzzed from the size distortion. So, once I have more free time/patience, and after I get a few other drawings done, I'll redo my icon.
Secondly, Zach Braff mentioned on his website that he'd directed a video for a guy named Joshua Radin. So, considering I generally share/enjoy Zach's taste in music, I checked the guy out. Its a GREAT cd. Seriously. If you enjoy any of the music from the Garden State soundtrack, or from Scrubs you should certainly give this guy a listen. I must have listened to his CD 4 or 5 times today at work.
Speaking of music at work, I switched between Josh Radins cd "We Were Here", to the Counting Crows' "August & Everything After" for most of the day. Back and forth, later in the evening I listened to The Shins "Chutes Too Narrow" and I skipped around the Garden State soundtrack a bit as well. So thats an idea of what I'm listening to at the moment.
Oh, for those who read my journal entry yesterday, I spoke briefly of my awesome Play Arts action figure of Squall Leonhart from Final Fantasy VIII.. well here he is:
I know, you're all jealous. Well maybe if you're extra nice I'll let you come play
And then.. last but certainly not least. At the end of my day, I got home and discovered.................................
A letter/package from the super-awesome bettydoll! She's SO rad! Look at all the cool stuff she sent me!
Yes, ladies and gentlemen, that is a SIGNED picture of the lovely betty! Now I know you're jealous
And the bracelets are so cool and cute! And I can't wait to listen to the CD's, and she's just the sweetest ever! Go tell her how much she rocks!
Anyways, thats all for me.
