Ugh. Another slow day at work with nothing to do. What the hell? This is supposed to be the "busy season", and we're supposed to have all of this work because they switched all these things around and now two days in a row we've been stuck doing shit work. L.A.M.E.
I'm happy the Red Hot Chilli Peppers have a new album coming out soon. I've seen the "Dani California" video a few times now, and it just makes me wonder some things. Mostly I wonder if kids today recognize half of the bands/singers that they are dressing up as in the video. And, its not like I'm concerned with the kids not recognizing The Misfits or David Bowie.. what scares me is that some kids are going to see that video and not know the Nirvana bit. You know? Like, I'm sure they've heard Nirvana songs, but, have they seen videos? I'm not some hardcore Nirvana fan, but its just kinda scary when you think that a band that meant so much to most of your generation is "music history". A sign of getting old I suppose. But I guess the real question is, do the kids today even like Red Hot Chilli Peppers?
And speaking of music, I got my soundtrack to Kamikaze Girls today, yay! Its so good. Yoko Kanno is AMAZING. And that movie was so good too, I think I'm going to have to watch it again this weekend.
Oh, so I have all these drawings to do now, right? And stupid me, I forget to print out pictures so that I can draw at work, and then I ALSO forget to bring my good drawing pencil with me, so, no serious art got done today.
So.. I think thats all. I wanna do something this weekend but I dont know what. Anyone have any ideas?
