So.. this weekend. Lets start with the good things.. or no, lets start with the bad and then end with the good. That seems more positive and mentally healthy, or something.
So, Sunday night, the vicious snowstorm begins, I'm driving home. Wonder of wonders, I get a flat tire. I'm stuck basically in the middle of fucking nowhere. I call my dad to come help get the tire changed and follow me home and all that. One BIG problem. There's no wrench and no crank for the jack. So, I cant get the nuts off the wheel to replace the fucking thing. So after spending an hour driving to the service station/car dealership to get a working jack and wrench, get back to my car and STILL cant get the nuts off. Seems they fastened them too tight the last time my car was serviced. Thanks guys. So, my car sits on the side of the highway all last night. AND all of today because the roads are so crappy that no one can get down them to take care of my car. What fun.
Now, on to the good things. I saw "V for Vendetta" twice this weekend. It is EXCELLENT. Don't let some jaded comic book uber geek disuade you from seeing it. Does it differ from the source material? Yes. Is it still an amazing movie? Hell yes.
Lets see what else good happened this weekend.. I purchased a large amount of comics, followed closely by a large amount of books.
Oh, this is kind of a neutral item, but, due to the snow, I got the day off of work. The only reason this doesn't count as good is because I know they're going to rape us with overtime because we didn't work today. Joy.
Ummm, thats basically it. I'd really love to make out right now.. but nobody's around
p.s. ok i just uploaded a few of my drawings to the "artists" group and now I'm super nervous to find out people's reactions/comments on them. I know, lame, but still.
this is a reminder of how you can set the world on fire
