The Cologne Update
Well...that was a event
I have decided that i love the city of Cologne and i want to have its babys...well...metaphoricly.
I arrived on thursday, some of my work colleges in tow, to be greeted by Richardson at the airport.
Belive me, if you can get her to meet you at a airport, i highly recommend it. All flights should end this way.
What happend then is that 4 days past in a haze of happyness, 4 days that will be etched on my mind for the rest of my life.
Its hard for me to pick highlights of the trip as there were no lowpoints.
But the things that stick in my mind:
Shopping for Chocolate
Having wicked thoughts in a Cathedral
Bouncing on beds
Meeting Sarcastic Boy.
Kolsh
Richardson
Things i will remember about her:
Her smile
Her reaction to the first taste of coconut-macaron ice cream
The way she looks so serious when trying on glasses.
The feeling of her hands on you as she hugs you goodbye
But most of all
I will forever have a image of her, in the middle of her club, dancing. The world around her seemed to slow to treacle, while she let the music move her, turning her this way and that.
That will always be a treasured memory for me.
If you have never seen her dance, you have never lived.
If someone told me i could move to Cologne the next day, i would be packing my bags.
The city, the people, the atmosphere, the Rhine, the Cathedral, the food, the pubs and clubs.
And the smile of a woman i know will always be a true friend.
This pic was my reaction to being told it was time to go home.
I love Cologne. It gave me a chance to be a part of me i dont use very often, the british gentalman.
Next time im going to show it my wicked side....and i hope it shows me its wicked side too.
And did i mention i shot a set while i was there?
