But my head hurts, my eyes ache. And all today ive felt like im completly apart from the human race, with no wish to come back and join.

The footage for the promo is taken from "C'tait un Rendezvous", a cult-classic short film made in Paris in 1976 by French filmmaker Claude Lelouch.


This is the first time in it's 30 year history that Lelouch has granted permission to use the footage, though many have tried to acquire the rights to use this beautiful, hair-raising piece of film.

Yeah, I used to own Amelie. Actually, it was PBS that got me hooked on foreign movies when I was a kid. I love Babette's Feast and anything with Roberto Benigni (he's so funny). I also love movies made in China that the government didn't approve of. Really anything different from the same boring crap that keeps getting recycled these days.

Wow, I'm only familiar with one song by Snow Patrol (Chasing Cars) but that was gorgeous. I'm going to have to check out more of their music. That video though made me feel almost sick to my stomach with all the turning. I get kind of nervous when I drive and don't do the weaving in and out stuff it worries me, even when it's someone else doing it on a video wink.
Also, being the typical American, I found myself giggling at the tiny little cars. Over here we're all about the BIGGER is BETTER thing and that's especially true with our vehicles. whatever (doesn't really matter to me though I drive a mini van blackeyed )
