6 More days and I'll be kickin' back on the sunny beaches of Kuaui, suckas! My friends are getting married and I'm in the wedding, so I'm flying out for a week and a half. It'll be nice to escape the tedium of the daily office grind, rent a Harley and get down to some makahali'i (I just made that word up, but it felt so right...).
I tried surfing last time I went to Waikiki, but it just made me realize how out of shape I am and how much upper body strength is required just to get out to the waves. I have a new-found respect for surfers. I'll probably give it another crack.
I pity any shark who's unfortunate to bite me--I think the toxins in my body might put him into shock, hehe. Mahalo.

hawaii is fun. only for a little while though, i get sick of the tourists, and the heat, and the sand in everything.
