my roomate's brother is staying with us. he's always struck me as a nice guy, so i dont mind. or, didn't until he said, 'IM NOT A RACIST, I JUST DONT LIKE BLACK PEOPLE'
i mean, waht the fuck? i dont want to say, 'dont let yr brother stay lauren' because, i mean, its her family, but that was really, really offensive...
advice?
in other news, a boy i liked just moved away tonite, to college, and he tried to kiss me and i got scared so i just said, 'well bye' and walked away...
im a loser.

Don't let silly comments like that get to you. Things like that usually come from a lack of real life experience. His statement was probably based on a bunch of stupid stereotypes (which may or may not have been reinforced by people he knows). I've got a lot of "racist" friends who think I'm the coolest thing since sliced bread, just because I don't conform to a lot of the stupid cliche's they normally associate with black people. (This is why I refuse to date another girl who says she'll only date black guys, because she's usually "into black guys" for some really stupid reason.)
Anyway, you're not a loser, you're just human. Best thing to do about that is just call him and tell him how you feel, and that you just got nervous in the midst of everything. He'll appreciate the honesty and may like you even more because of it. (At least that's how I am)
LATAZ... from the king of all losers.
