My close friend Michele passed away on Thanksgiving. She was one of the sweetest, smartest, strongest, bitchiest, and most beautiful people I have ever met and the space in my heart for her will never be filled again. I'm very grateful to have had her visit in October and will never forget her smile or laugh or how she liked to use the word 'crucial'. Some of my fondest memories of Portland are of riding around in her truck listening to Bolt Thrower and having coffee while her dog, Trouble, ran around in the back yard. My upcoming trip to Portland was scheduled to spend my birthday and new year's eve with her, but the celebrations will have to take place in her memory now. If you live in Portland and you knew her, please get hold of me, it would be good to remember her amongst people who loved her. I wasn't sure if it was appropriate to share here, but we looked at SG boobs while she was visiting so it seemed okay. If you love someone let them know.
