Lots going on, but most excitingly, my friend and I got a residency in Finland! He and I will be living over there for a month and working on a project in a gallery space in Turku. If you happen to be in those parts, hit me up. After the residency is over I'll be sticking around for a while and will probably end up in Berlin and Stockholm, too. I've never been to Europe, which is almost embarrassing, but am really really looking forward to it and would love to meet some people so get hold of me and I promise to be fun. More trips to Boston coming up to lecture at UMass Dartmouth and to record with Alrunes, both should be eventful and somewhat enjoyable. I think that's the deal for right now, I just got up and am being entertained by people driving by my window blasting thugged-out hip hop.
Oh yeah, here's an edit I forgot. My room mate and I and a bunch of other people dressed up last minute for Halloween and went to a Halloween party in Williamsburg. It took up two floors in a warehouse and was totally insane, the highlights of which were free tequila all night and The Jesus Lizard and Bad Brains played. There was also a half pipe with people skating all over it. Super fun. We went as Nancy Kerrigan and Tonya Harding, here are the only pics that made it:
Oh, one more edit. I don't understand the idea that having a vapid look on your face is attractive. I keep seeing pictures of girls that look like they're trying to think about nothing... what the fuck? It seems more attractive to look into someone's eyes and see that they know a lot about a lot of stuff. Maybe they're even thinking about some of it, and sure, some of it can be fucking - or a bunch of it even. Whatever.
