I did not go to jail per the last post. This is good. I went in to court and the summons was pending a warrant, but then it was dismissed. I am a free man if you were concerned.
However, I did get another summons last Saturday for having an open container. This happened because I went outside a party to talk to a girl and foolishly brought my beer with me, at nearly the same time police pulled up because of a noise complaint (bands were playing). Apparently if you call police cock-blockers it will not result in being let off with a warning.
I've more or less finished the 'Wind of Knives' piece and the Sabbath piece is on hold. My good friend and I will be having a show here in Brooklyn in September and most of my energy is being routed toward that right now. We're both going to have some wall pieces in it as well as a collaborative sound piece and installation. I won't say anything other than it's going to rule and will involve stuff cut out by lasers and distorted guitar. Fuck yeah! If you want to check out his work, he's at: alexanderdemaria.com. He's one of my best friends and his art fucking kills so look at it.
Because of the sound element I've had to buy some new hardware for my computer and, as a fringe benefit, it allows me to rip vinyl to digital files. VERY COOL. However, I can't get the EQ to sound right and everything comes out kind of flat and tinny sounding. There's supposed to be a feature that works similarly to a pre-amp filter, but it doesn't really work. If anyone has experience using Final Vinyl, please clue me in to its mysteries.
More art news. Originally that 'Gelatinous Cube' drawing I made for the Dungeons & Dragons show was going to be shown here, now it will be at the Indiana Museum of Contemporary Art and the book element of the project will debut at GenCon. So... all you gaming nerds better check it out. For the project I had to list the RPGs I enjoyed and they included AD&D, Rifts, Cyberpunk, Rolemaster, and Spacemaster... so know that I use the term nerd in an endearing way.
Almost forgot. I started that Durer tattoo. It's just gray-lined with some light shading at this point so it seems pretty premature to post photos, but they're coming and the work is looking great. My next sitting is about a week before the Maryland Deathfest. Since I have no photos, I will post the original image... it was just in a show here in Chelsea coincidentally:
It goes from my armpit to my ass - fucking amped!
Finally, I will be in Boston for the MassArt MFA show this coming Thursday the 16th and will be leaving Saturday the 18th. There's almost no open time in my schedule, but if you're around and want to see art, drink booze, or make out... let me know. I may also be interested in talking about metal and I will have my bike with me.

What hotel? I'm staying at a punk haus somewhere in Baltimore...my travelmates and I are transporting epic quantities of booze. I have a feeling it will all be consumed the first evening.

Nobody you'd know, I think.
