Someone posted a 'Missed Connection' thing about me on Craigslist. She (I'm assuming she) said that she might have to quit coming into my work because it's too much of a distraction. She also called my hair cute which I thought was funny since I've been thinking of it as over-grown and dirty. So I was quite flattered and my day was officially made. Also, I just sold an Infest 7" for $25 on Ebay- awesome! Here's a link to what's left of my auctions, they end tomorrow: http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZasfixiumQQhtZ-1
What else?
Here's a pic of my new bike, though I swapped out the pedals for some clipless SPDs: My dumb shit upstairs neighbors between loud 3am fist fights last night decided to break bottles directly in front of our collectively shared stoop...I didn't know and ran over the glass and got a flat tire on my way to work today. I didn't get out of work in time to get a new innertube, so I'm waiting for my friend to show up with a valve stem extender so I can at least be mobile in the meantime. If anyone out there has some narrower bars (I'm specifically hoping for some Soma track bars), I'd be more than willing to trade these for them. They're Nitto CroMo so they're pretty nice, I'm just worried I'm gonna clip a side mirror with 'em. I was nearly doored into a bus the other day...pretty exciting. While I'm at it, I'd like to get some Continental GatorSkins, too. I was riding their UltraRace tires on my last bike, but since I'm going brakeless now I figure I should get something a little tougher.
Went to a cocktail party last night, it was fun as I don't often get to wear a suit. I tied my tie backwards, but it all worked out. I also ended up drinking Sparkz while dangling my legs from a rooftop a little later on in the evening. There was a breeze and it was real nice watching the streetlights in the trees. Moving begins in about a week...that's cool. Actually, really, really awesome.
I've traded a bunch of music lately, currently listening to Eyehategod's 'In the Name of Suffering'. It's pretty awesome, I first got this album as a third generation dubbed cassette from a friend when I was 17. That's 10 YEARS! Doesn't seem that long ago, it seems just yesterday I was riding around in my parent's Pontiac minivan blasting that smack inspired doom. Now I can listen to it all over again and remember the idealistic youth I once was. Bleh.

I may be moving to the Bay area soonish, still trying to figure it all out. Good luck to you, what is making you think L.A. anyway?
