Okay, so I'm leaving this site. I already mentioned it and on the 13th of this month that will be it. I've met nice people through here, made some good friends, slept with some people, and seen a lot of hot naked girls. All in all, a fair run over the past five years. Most of the people I know personally have already left and...

Today I met Anselm Kiefer and Matt Pike. I'm not one for celebrity, but fucking c'mon.
devith5044:
I have to agree, did you meet them in the same place?
Canceling my account. It's been fun. Find me here: owenrundquist.com or search me on Facebook. Best of luck.

ps - I guess the account will be active until mid-December and this was a little premature. Who knows?

Thanks for the feed back. It's nice to hear from someone with an understanding of art.
I've been trying to make art that has an emotional effect. Recently I've been really interested in tension and unease. That's why i've been focusing on the human skeleton, that constant reminder of mortality. And I paint each bone just warped enough to make it look off without it being obvious. I think it's like you know something's not right with it without knowing what it is.
Well I hope your adventures in Finland and Stockholm went well. Best of luck with your success.

Oh cool. I've never used FB to link a photo album & wanted to post random things I take. Yes...I took all this of bones and that was the glorious head.
Mad I did not steal them. Next time.

Was just coming to ask how the show was (I still have not spoken to Elway. People must think I'm kidding with my phone issues)...
jena:
Actually just thinking of your Finland piece makes me more mad that I didn't take all of the bones. My only defense at the moment was there were actually so many I was mildly bewildered although I had a knapsack. Next time I'll pack gloves and bags bc the bones are whatever but obviously the clean skull is what I want. I'd explain but I'm certain you can relate.
I got back from Puerto Rico and it was amazing! Highlights: Snorkeling on Culebra, swimming in a waterfall near Yabucoa, exploring caves on the west coast, hiking in the rain forest and climbing a 1,000 ft stone cliff, old San Juan partying, and lots of cool art and music people. I'll upload some pics when I'm not so tired. It feels so good to get...

sounds like an amazing trip.
It was a good time, although not as satisfying as it could have been.
Squirting orgasms really fascinate me. I've never experienced it, so I swear its a myth.

When my ex gf had her first squirting orgasm I admit I sort ended up having a rather quizzical face on at the time XD good thing she thought it was funny and didn't think I was trying to be a jerk
Miami was good and bad, lots of work but I got to see a fucking TON of art. As is usually the case with seeing a bunch of art, most of it was not good, but that which was was phenomenal. I discovered a couple of new artists (new to me) that I like and their galleries just gave me catalogs of their work. If...

lexie:
true.. although they are more fun when you at least know the outline of the board.
My close friend Michele passed away on Thanksgiving. She was one of the sweetest, smartest, strongest, bitchiest, and most beautiful people I have ever met and the space in my heart for her will never be filled again. I'm very grateful to have had her visit in October and will never forget her smile or laugh or how she liked to use the word 'crucial'....

Your travel plans are inciting twinges of envy. But good for you. I'm glad you're doing these things.
And yeah, I'm pretty happy. It's either my partner or my recent home brewing spree - I'm not really sure.

I'm really chuffed for you that you're getting to travel so much. Strangely enough, all of the places in Europe you mentioned are places I've never been, but I imagine Helsinki will be pretty fun. As will Stockholm, and...well, you get the gist. If you ever get the chance, try and get to Budapest. It's easily the most gorgeous city I've ever seen.
Don't be an asshole like me and forget to actually hit cancel. I need to do that for reals.
