go away from the site for a day or two and now i am all disoriented....i thought the bright yellow box that said "Update Your Page" in red was a reprimand for my lack of regular news here....oy i think i am sort of back on track though - maybe
So the show with my work in it is closing. No sales, but i guess none of the fetish work sold so I do not feel too bad. However, accorrding to the gallery director my work did garner the most inquiries, compliments as well as many questions about the process of all the work shown . Also one person said they would have been very tempted to buy a piece if it were bigger(damn size prejudiced people) I also have a full portfolio review with them on Oct 19 as well as finally getting around to submitting my application to City Art - the coop gallery in the mission(i can afford the membership now that my client finally paid me - damn slow clients )
Besides the fact that it appears my art career may finally be able to be called the beginning of a career or something like that. I have been taken on as a staff writer and press correspondent for an online video game site Xequted.com. i will probably be doing some other work for them as well, but for now it means lot's of free games and other cool electronic gadgets and gaming hardware - i never thought i would even play video games 9 months ago but how the world changes...i will be over in SF covering the World Cyber Games Finals all week from Oct6-10 - lot's of cool events planned for it so stop by and look for me there
PS: I should learn to proof read my entries BEFORE i submit them
