boy am i an update slacker lately. its been a tough couple of weeks, my best friend moved back to kentucky, and i found out my uncle who has cancer doesn't have a good prognosis. life has been moving along though, just had eight months sober on sunday. i start my new job at the home depot next week, which i can't wait for. i haven't worked in almost three months .

right now i'm watching olympic hockey. this has been great its the most hockey i've seen in 8 months since i moved from philadelphia. i really miss it. i hoping that finland wins and plays sweden in the gold medal game cause i would like to see the flyers peter forsberg (sweden) play against flyers goalie antero niittymaki (finland). that would be most excellent. i'm going to buy tickets to see the flyers play the thrashers here in a month.

tonight i'm going to see one of my friends bands play at a little bar. they probably suck but i've gotta show my support. should be fun though.
