i feel pretty useless right now. i need a job. i baked banana bread today. i didn't leave my house. i'm debating making a midnight run for the taffy cookies i seem to be addicted to...

Kiddo, don't worry about needing a job. I'm 30, I have a college degree, I'm an Army Intelligence veteran, and I'm stumbling from temp job to temp job. You've got years to go before you can feel shitty about not having a real job.

I'm with Erich on this one... I not only have a college degree (a double BA), I have a completed Masters and a thesis for a second one being reviewed as we speak... and a teaching credential. And, I'm at that age where I'm expected to have a 'real job'...

Do I have one?
No.

(I did, but thanks to our lovely president and all the money he put into the education system, we all got laid off)

Is it worth stressing over?
Absolutelly not!
I've learned over the last few months that there is so much more to life than the stupid job and chasing the American dream. As long as you can survive (on your own or with help of friends), you're doing just fine.

So, next time you feel useless and like you have no reason to leave your house, drop Erich or I a note and we can all get together plot ways to employ ourselves, eat junk and make fun of gainfully employed biggrin
