Yesterday, I completed my inscription to school.
Next big step: I move next week to my new big appartment.
Since I'll be packing the computer tomorrow, and it will only come out of the box in one week, here's some reflections:
Women are known to be paid less than men for equal jobs, that's why the government came up with law, that even they don't follow the rules yet,. Okay, that's a fact. So why is marketing targeting women. Really look how much publicity is targeting women, for mostly unneeded stuff like whitening things and make-up whatever. We are supposed to earn less than men, don't target us, we don't have money. And most women who don't have money, really needs every cent of it (I'm thinking monoparental mom here).
I've still do not answer this tough question yet: Should we give money to homeless people? I have a list of fors and againsts, but I think that's not the help that they deserve, it's a illusion of help. I always wanted to take one of them to the restaurant with me to, you know, share a meal and talk about his needs, his real needs, not the ones I think he have. Should I rather tell them where's the nearest shelter is even thought most are "end of month" poors.
I think most people don't realise how much they are rich, as long as you have a home, even if it's just a 1 1/2:
- You have a roof that protects you against wind, snow, sun and rain.
- You have the opportunity to go to the toilet in the comfort of your home and just flush everything out in a second.
- There is someone picking up your garbages twice a week, right in front of you.
- You can drink water right from your kitchen, how amazing is that! It can even be cold, if you want.
- If you are hungry, there is always somewhere to eat where you can go to by foot before fainting.
Bonne Saint-Jean tout le monde (yes, I choose this smilie only because it is blue).
