You're almost done! Yay you!!!! Bjork is such good spring music. Though for me spring is always the Ramones and Nick Cave. Bit too early for my Ramones celebration of spring yet but it's just right for Nick Cave!

ARABIAN PICKLED TURNIPS

-Enough turnips to fill 1 quart jar
-2 cups water
-1 small beat, peeled and sliced
-1 cup vinegar
-4 cloves Garlic, minced
-2 teaspoons salt

1. Wash turnips and cut off tops and bottoms. Make cuts from top to 1/2 inch from bottom every 1/4 inch. Soak in water overnight and wash well in the morning.

2.Pack into jar with the beat slices

3.Combine remaining vinegar, garlic and salt and pour cold over vegetables. Store in a cool place. The pickles will be ready in 3 days.
