What's new in my world?

First, I'm now really really scared of the chicken flu (grippe aviaire).

Second, I'm so fucking tired surreal

Third, I just saw that TEX has a tattoo at the same place as I do, so I'll try to post this one soon, so no one calls me a copyer.

Fourth, I've got to go to work.

The two film versions of La Bte humaine that I have seen are both a little disappointing. I mean, they are interesting, but don't attain the same degree of madness as the Zola novel. They are:
La Bte humaine (Jean Renoir, France, 1938)
and
Human Desire (Fritz Lang, USA, 1954)

Recently there was an adaptation of La Terre called This Filthy Earth (Andrew Kotting, UK, 2001) that really was in the spirit of Zola: it was absolutely disgusting!!
