I walked over to CBGBs on Friday to see Living Colour, and ended up getting paid to work the back door for the show. The crowd was pretty mellow, and had I not been overly tired and hungry I would have enjoyed the conversations. I DID however, love the set. Living Colour are STILL amazing, and such incredibly friendly guys to boot. I really hope this is the start of something, and not a one-shot deal, because I think they could actually find a place in today's rock market, with a lot of the racial "barriers" being gone.
Saturday, I bought a bike and rode it home. Goddamn, I am out of shape. And yes, I bought one of those helmets, cuz I'm still a spaz on it, since it's been 15 years since I've ridden a bike.
