Friday, I worked security for the "Misfits" show at CBGBs. Despite being saddened at seeing Jerry try to ressurect the legend status of the band by himself, it was pretty enjoyable. Jerry is a surprisingly friendly guy, and his kids are pretty reasonable, as well. The show was only them, so it went quickly, and I got to go home earlier than I expected (though later than I wanted to, after a 9 hour day at work, then running to the club for 6 hours, because it ran late).
Sunday, I worked the back door for Gorilla Biscuits. Civ was awesome, and made my job as easy as he could, and even shared his water with the crowd and security. Everyone ended up getting in, and the posi youth kids were really polite and helpful. I'm actually glad I went.
