I absolutely love Renaissance Festival!! It’s so much fun prancing around like elvish royalty, and getting sugar highs from too much cream soda.
This year it was actually pretty chilly, so I rented a cloak. I fell in love with it and ended up going home with it. It kept me nice and warm and just enhanced my outfit. We went earlier than we normally go, so we spent more time doing some activities.
I didn’t get any pictures of it, but we got completely lost in a maze, that I’m pretty sure was designed for children! It just reminded me of Kevin in Hay Maze just running back and forth yelling help! Hahah
I also saw an archery station and forgot how much I love archery. I’m also unusually good at it. It just felt really natural for me and I’m totally going to perfect this newfound skill.
I felt like an elf princess ready for war. Also, how fabulous is this cloak? You can see why I fell in love with it.
It was really awesome spending the whole day there. Last year, I worked too late and got there 15 min before they closed :( it was so disappointing. This year made up for it for sure! Can’t wait for next year!!
This also makes me super excited for comic con! I love getting all dressed up in costumes and cosplay! Fingers crossed my work schedules allows it like it did for renaissance festival!
