I haven't done one of these in awhile and I hope it is okay if I do one from a previous week. I haven't done much of anything this spring break except for being a couch potato. It has been fantastic being a tato! I have been watching a lot of Netflix so I thought it would be fun to share what I have been watching lately.
At any given time I am always watching The Office. I am fairly certain that I have watched this entire series at least 5 times. It's still just as funny as it was the first time. Each time I watch it, I somehow catch a new joke that I didn't notice before. If you have never watched this show, you should definitely consider watching this.
Dwight is my favorite character in this series. His shenanigans are always so crazy. It is so hard to describe his character without talking for hours!
I am also watching Torchwood! Since Netflix decided to take off Doctor Who (ugh so Rude!) I decided to watch one of the spin offs. Captain Jack Harkness is pretty awesome in this series. I am only on Season 3 but so far it is not too bad. I have seen some new aliens that are not on Who and Peter Capaldi is currently on these episodes that I have been watching tonight. It is a different type of show than Who, it is more of a crime fighting (?) vibes rather than time and space travel. Still, I think it is an awesome spin off series.
This series is set inside a branch of a covert agency called the Torchwood Institute, where dashing commander in chief Capt. Jack Harkness leads Torchwood Three, an ace team of experts, as it investigates unexplained extraterrestrial incidents on Earth. Other members of the team include newest member Gwen Cooper; medical officer Dr. Owen Harper; computer specialist Toshiko Sato; and technician Ianto Jones. Torchwood Three operates independently of the British government, law enforcement groups and even the United Nations.
If you like Doctor Who and you haven't watched Torchwood you should consider checking this out.
Season 3 is starting off in a crazy way and I can't wait to see how this season goes. I would easily compare the drama and suspense of the opening of season 3 to when we lose Rose in Who! so if this is how it opens, I have no idea what is going to happen throughout this season!! woah!
Another show that I have started watching is the Lizzie Borden Chronicles! It only has one season right now but this one season has a ton of bloodshed! I am pretty sure half of the cast has been murdered! It is no way based on any truth about Lizzie but if you like murder and serial killers, you would like this show. I absolutely love Christina Ricci and I think she is phenomenal as Lizzie Borden. She has just the right of sex appeal to make her one sexy crazy bitch! Clea Duvall plays her sister and I find her to be very naive, like how can you not suspect your sister is a serial killer when literally everyone around you mysteriously dies!
Has anyone watched any of these series? What did you think if you did? I love reading what everyone is watching! As soon as I am done with Torchwood I plan on watching a few new shows that some of you have suggested!
