What I do know is it has been used sucessfully in France, South America, and I know they have it in the U.S., but it is terribly expensive. 230.00 for a 20 day supply. Ouch. It works much differently than the other drugs, because it keeps the brain cells from dying. Because though it is prescribed for Alzheimers and not HD, most insurances will not approve it.
Anyway, I will try and get you some information about it, and as soon as I hear from the scientist in NZ I will let you know her thoughts on the drug as well, if they have it there.
Take care!

The surgeon also indicated she was going to get in touch with the doctor that was speaking to this particular conference about the drug, as they apparently are starting to look at doing clinical trials of it for the HD. I'm willing to try it. I'm already on minocycline for it.
