was awesome. im sure i mentioned that. airports are funny i have decided. at both the Warsaw airport and the one i Frankfurt i had to take my shoes off to go through the metal detector thingy. i was wearing my 20 hole boots i decided not to question the scary pissed off army lady. i did just stare at her in disbelief for a moment tho. i gotta say all the staff at the frankfurt airport were super nice and friendly. *coughnotlikepolandcough* anyhow, Dave was at heathrow to fetch me it was so nice to see him and hug him and yay! but normal feeling too. you know? like we could have just seen each other the day before or something.
and i was all excited about being in London,so i kept pointing at everything going "oooh! british tree!!" or "*squee* british moss!!" and the suchlike. we finally got to the flat which is Daves grans flat where his brother steve is living with his Janet. James and Claire (daves other siblings) were there too. and Claire says ok i want to leave in 30mins. so i didnt bother taking my boots off (this is important because all in all i ended up haviong them on for 16 hours ^__^ i rule) anway i ate a chav doughnut. thus named because some crazy chav girl had forced them on janet earlier in the day "wouldya like a doughnut?" oh the hilarity. twas good tho.
we went to Westminster!! soooo beautiful. i think the word awesome in its true meaning fits well. we also got in for free round the side coz their grandfather is JJ Thompson and is buried there. i felt so cool to be included. afterwards we went to burgerking (ah consumerism) and wandered around in shops with claire (boring) and went back to find the flat locked and empty and it was raining (*squee* british rain!!!) so we walked to whitelys to wait for steve and janet. we were all sooo tired by the time we got back.couldnt do anything but slump on the couch and stare at the tv. but i met steves friend Kim who is an awesome animator. he worked on the hogfather movie. and we had pasta. and watched desperate housewives. i love how dave is so into that show. ♥

next day we got up real early again to go to kings cross to go to Cambridge.
i look aweful coz its still before 8am. a truly ungodly hour. anyway yay! and we took a train and it wa sfun. and there we walked around lots of universities and had lunch with their dad and his wife and her daughter (who is like six) at lunch the little girly whos name is Nicola asked "are you Daves girlfriend?" which made me snort into my smoked salmon and crayfish ravioli. before bursting out laughing. that was a good moment. after being assured that i wasnt she warmed up to me considerably. going so far as to hug me spontaneously. i feel very awkward around children. hehe,who has a crush on their step brother? *snigger* poor dave.
that evening Dave James and i trained back to London while Claire stayed. the guy in the train kept making weird noises that made us laugh alot. we went home and lay around and i had a shower and felt beautiful and we went out for sushi!!! ♥ which only steve janet and i enjoyed. james is not big into seafood (travesty!) and dave was feeling REAL sick. he does that. shame but but but,it was good for me ^__^ unlimited miso soup for 1 pound!!! oh the joy! JOY!! dave and i walked back while the others stayed to do some grocery shopping. we sang beatles songs all the way. and we set up the couch bed thing. soo comfy. and then the others came back with muriels wedding. and we all squashed on the couch. do you have any comprehension of how amazing comfortable physical cotact is after so long alone? so long. and now i had everything. everything i could want. conversations.laughter. hugs. janets ginger bread cookies!! oh gods yes.
more stuff happened then the next day we finally got up late and went off to find Denmark street with all its music shops and drooled over countless guitars and drumsets,headphones,basses,amps etc. etc. so wonderful. james bought a microphone and we found steven. james and dave started calling me Jude and Penny Lane we went and had amazing pasta at so random place. so good. we went home. watched random tv. did some more stuff.
then kayla arrived the next morning. and there was confusion coz it was early,everyone was sleeping,dave was feeling sick again,her phone wasnt working. PANIC! so i finally got through to her and we decided to meet at lancastergate. but when i got there it was closed. renovations -_- goddamn. after about 2 hours wondering vaguely through London rain,all the way to thingywhat Arch, and back. kayla made it to the flat 2 minutes before i got back dave was throwing up. more panic coz kayla had to get to where she was gonna be staying by 12:30 to get a key. so james and i went with her to fetch her luggage from a hotel and take her to putney. PUTNEY!! so far... it was an adventure

anyway. on the way back it was raining so we took refuge at the mall. where i had my first ever taste of ben and jerry's icecream *falls over and twitches* JOYGASMIC!


we also found 2 photobooths. one took a phot. one was jammed. we spent 2 hours in the jammed one trying to get money out. i have not had so much fun. ever.





we walked back eventually.and gave dave one of the photos with 'you werent here' on it. so mean.




then we ate supper and had to take kayla back

and we had to put kayla on the bus and RUN back to not miss the last train. i was wearing james' allstars which were waaay too big for me and super comfy. my toes end before the white nose bit.
next day they were leaving so we just sat in the morning.
afterwards kayla nd i bought me an mp3 player and had tea and bought a t-shitr each. the doors!! ♥ then we went out and had supper and went to sleep. in PUTNEY! and woke up with pete saying we have to leave NOW. haha go us for almost missing our flight. Kayla managed to get onto my flight (she was on standby) and thus ended our London excursion.
