I knew this was going to happen. I have good news and bad news on the job front. The bad news is my job has put a hiring freeze in effect. The good news is my job has put a hiring freeze in effect. The hiring freeze means I cannot transfer until its lifted, but that also means that the station I want to transfer to cant fill the positions either. That means when they do lift the freeze I will be able to put in for the transfer that I didnt do last week because of a few details that had to worked out. The rumor is that the freeze is going to last till the end of our fiscal year. That is no problem because that is only June 1st. in the mean time I am going to travel to Chicago to talk to the managers out there to see how many people applied and what type of work environment it is. I also have to get a feel for the city, see if I catch a good or bad vibe. So basically I have at least a month to get every thing on this front taken care of. I just got to get started. Foreshadowing tomorrow I most likely am going to have a bad daygoing to see a lawyer in the morning, but that is step one of this whole process of moving
