Hi all. Not much to say today about myself it has been a boring day concerning me. But on the other people front I had a coworker arrested yesterday in my station by the state police. I guess he was on Fox news last night and in the Detroit free press this morning. He was arrested for supposedly scamming people out of the deeds to their house. He spent last night in jail. The gossip tonight though is that they arrested the wrong guy. They were looking for some other person with the same name. Here is the story off of the Detroit Free Press web site.

False house deed filing leads to felony case
Wayne County prosecutors announced charges Tuesday against a Detroit man accused of trying to file a fraudulent deed in order to take over a woman's house in Detroit.
Charles Simmons, 42, is charged with uttering and publishing, a 14-year felony.
Simmons in October went to the Wayne County Registrar of Deeds office and attempted to record a deed to a home on the 16000 block of Log Cabin.
Unfortunately for Simmons, the property was owned by an employee in the registrar's office. The clerk noticed the address, consulted with the clerk and called the sheriff's department. Simmons was arrested. He was charged March 9.
