Yesterday, we took a very long walk down the water of Leith. It was a good day.

Cut through the botanic gardens on our way home, which was teeming with squirrels:
and later that night the fox was in our garden:
and on a very sad note, my birdie which I posted in the other blog is very sick. I'm afraid he might die. I tried today to find a vet to take him to but I was told to find an exotic or avian vet. The only one I could find was quite far away... about an hour and a half on multiple buses which would have been impossible for me with my 9 month old daughter on my own. I've got him comfortable in his cage at the moment as I'm trying to organize someone to give us a ride out there. Sad.
