Well, I'll soon be the proud new owner of this sweet frame:
I'm so stoked. It's going to be a sweet single speed project that I plan to build up entirely myself (under the tutelage of my bike mechanic husband, that is) and I'm really stoked to go for a ride! Ry's planning to get a baby seat for his charge duster and then we can spend our weekends zipping about Edinburgh on our bikes. Super duper excited. Though we do need to wait until the baby is closer to 9 months before she'll be ready for the bike seat. I might eventually convert it to fixed gear, but not until I feel more competent riding. I used to ride every. single. day. in university, but it's been a couple years now. What I really want to do is go ride it on the velodrome at meadowbank! Ry mentioned possibly borrowing a track bike off of one of his coworkers (he works in the bike industry so everyone he knows owns every type of bike imaginable haha) and seeing if we can go for a spin.
p.s. this is why Japan is better than you! I want to move to Tokyo SO BAD!
