I miss Arizona so much.
It's really compounded by the fact that everyone and their mother is blogging about getting ready for Hell City Phoenix all over SG this weekend. I was born and raised in Phoenix but I've also lived in Tucson, Prescott, and Dewey. So basically, all over the state. I think about home a lot, and how different living in the UK is.
The change of weather is really hard for me. When you've lived in the heat for your entire life and suddenly it's in the 60's through the whole of August with nearly every other day being rainy... it's difficult to cope with.
May marked one year since I moved here and often wonder if I will ever move home. Some days I feel like it will never be in the cards, especially now that we are having a baby.
I do love Scotland, though.. Edinburgh is an amazing city and we live right on the Firth of Forth, so I have a beautiful view of the sea outside my window.
Still, I wonder... will my heart ever stop feeling homesick?
sigh.
