So my birthday is in 10 days, and I have no idea what to do. Last year my husband made a HUGE deal out of it, secretly took 4 days off work, surprised me with all kinds of gifts, took me to Deep Sea World (an aquarium, AKA probably the best thing he could have done!), out to lunch and dinner, and other stuff.
This year I told him not to buy me any presents or do anything extravagant because we need to buy a lot of stuff for the baby in August. He is taking the day after my birthday off (since my actual b-day is a thursday, better to have the three-day weekend) and we are going out to dinner Thursday night and that's it! I really, really wanted to go out for sushi (I'm vegetarian but I do eat fish about 3-4 times a year), but since I'm pregnant I could only eat vegetarian sushi anyway and it seems like a waste. Where should I go? I live in Edinburgh, Scotland.. my favorite place to eat here is David Bann's, which is a fancy Veg restaurant, but we ate there for our anniversary on June 27th. Thoughts???
I am still getting two amazing birthday gifts though from two of my amazing friends. ldngrrl (Lil) got me these amazing Jellyfish plugs that I've been drooling over from the moment I saw them. I am so excited.
THANK YOU LIL!
and my best friend Molly bought me this tea cup I desperately wanted, but couldn't buy over here.
my friends know me so well!
Anyway, I am excited to be going to IKEA here in the next week or two to buy a few things we still need for the baby. I don't mind having a quiet dinner for my birthday instead, though I might still buy myself a present. I designed this pokemon case for my iphone and I've been wanting to purchase it for a while. How amazing is it?
Okay wow this is long. Anyway, Good morning SG!
