I'll update in a minute...lot of drama (not mine) and moving back to NC preparations underway.

I've decided to return to UNC in the spring. I was accepted to UNC-FSU (Fayetteville State) but after all the time/effort I put in at Carolina I feel it would be best to swallow my pride and finish it out there. I know people of all ages attend college but generally college is best for that age between teenagehood and adulthood when you haven't had a dose of the real world.
I would have graduated this year if I had remained so I'll be returning without my support group of friends but I suppose that will be good in its own way. I will be commuting (1 1/2 hrs in good traffic) and hopefully have most classes on Tues. and Thurs. and maybe an online one. Personally, I don't think the education provided at UNC is worlds better than UNC-FSU, just different, but the name, reputation, and future connections are the biggest benefits of Carolina. Even people that aren't too familiar with UNC have the lightbulb turn on when I say Tarheels. I figure I need all the help I can get with my career so I don't have to resort to sexual favors at interviews.

The car broke down, again!
That stupid piece of crap and the stupid craptastic autorepair shop on post are to blame! It's going to cost two hundred-something dollars to fix this time and we only have three-hundred in the bank right now because we paid for our tickets and hotel in Vegas.
Speaking of Vegas, I really hope my husband's friends can come.
Oh, and last but definitely not least, Nyomi is officially one years old today!
