Its ridiculously hot here and air conditioning seems to be a figment of the imagination. I'm melting...

So...out of the blue the husband says, "I've been thinking that if we did have a threesome there'd have to be some ground rules." For a moment, I thought a body-snatcher had replaced my husband. I never expected those words to come out of his mouth after he made it abundantly clear how he felt about threesomes and my suggesting such a thing.

I asked him where this change of heart/mind had come from and he said he had just been thinking about it. He asked if I had anyone in mind and I said no because I don't. People around here are skuzzy (if this is a new word, it is officially mine, if not, i don't remember where/who i'm stealing it from) and I don't get out much.

But anyway, it just seems weird. He voiced such strong objections that this change is just odd. I know you shouldn't look a gifthorse in the mouth but his initial response was so strong and negative that I don't know where this change is coming from. I'm not too inclined to believe its genuine.

I know this is what I wanted, to be with a woman, and still keep my husband but perhaps this is telling me that trying to add a missing piece to my marriage to fulfill an area that can't be fulfilled by my husband is a problem that will still remain even after a threesome.

I feel that if we did go through with a threesome, and my feelings for women increased, and our marriage ended up falling apart there'd be alot more hurt/pain because he had a threesome ("for my sake") and compromised a part of himself/his beliefs in doing so.

I don't think we'll ever have a threesome for that reason. I have no problems with lap dances in Las Vegas though.
