Well, I didn't get to see Star Wars yesterday but I do get to see it today.
As I'm walking the baby around post in her stroller, I hear, "Work that backside!" I immediately turn in the direction of the car, angry face in place and see that its the husband of the new couple we've befriended. He's smiling and waving as he passes. So I drop the face and smile. Part of me was flattered but he doesn't know us (or me) well enough to make a comment like that and know it won't be taken the wrong way.
The weather is pretty hot here lately and I miss being able to wear my miniskirts with thick flip flops and my little crochet hat with rim tilted to the side. I tried that thing on the other day and it looked like my butt was trying to escape. I've definitely gotten more curves since the baby. I do like looking more like a woman now but alot of the stuff I used to wear won't look so innocent anymore.
There's an exercise bike my husband has offered to buy for me. I really want it b/c getting to the gym is almost impossible with watching the baby and his continued late nights and weekend duty. Since he bought it he can consider it his right? That way I can work off some pounds and be guilt-free.
After talking about the exercise bike he came to me and said, "You can do side bends or sit-ups but please don't lose that butt!" He's such a dork.
I need some Cali people to let me know where the best places to live (raise a family) are out there.
