The weekend was pretty uneventful. Although, I bought Phantom of the Opera and even though I really didn't feel it until the end, I still think its a great movie. But I love musicals and the Phantom has always been a favorite.
Personally, I think the mask was a rather sexy accessory. And who am I to hate on someone for having wigs...I used to wear a couple back in the day when I wanted to switch things up
Yesterday, the baby and I went with the pregnant wife of the couple we hang out with, to her doctor's appt. She would've had to go alone otherwise. So her appt. went fine and she and her baby boy are doing well. Then afterwards we just went windowshopping and had a surprisingly good time.
When I first arrived to Germany 7 1/2 mos pregnant and saw her I had an instant response of dislike. She hadn't said two words to me but being met with a tall blonde, heavily made-up, in a bright pink baby tee that was straining against her massive, and eye-catchingly perky breasts making her waist seem non-existent set my insecurities into overdrive. I knew I was going to be hating. But the more time we spent with them I found that she's not ridiculously into herself or snooty, which is what I also thought when I first saw her. I mean, she has a big dose of self-confidence but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Anywho, long story short, I'm beginning to really like her (not in that way). I mean, she has the trappings of someone you may initially blow off (if you're somewhat shallow and have insecurities that need working on, like me) but upon further acquaintance (when the husbands are not around) she's pretty cool.
I wonder if she'd let me see her boobies.

The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe has been made into a movie! Oh, the potential for greatness! Along with Hitchhiker's Guide, I now have to add The Chronicles of Narnia to my must read/re-read list.
Then there's War of the Worlds and Star Wars coming out. This will be a good year for fantasy/sci-fi movies and hopefully spike an interest in reading.
I think I was born into the wrong dimension. I swear I should've been some kind of magic-wielding, intergalatic traveling, martial arts master librarian. I'm such a dork and I love it!
