Well, I just found out that my husband is going to Iraq sometime after April. I want to comfort him but I don't know how. I feel off center and

Neither of us agree with the war but we knew it was inevitable that he would get sent still having a couple of years left on this tour.

His request for leave just got declined for the second time. The first was around Christmas so I went home by myself with our baby so his family and my family could meet her for the first time. That also meant we couldn't do anything special for our one year anniversary which we were hoping to make up for with this leave time. Yeah...be all you can be... ...after we've destroyed your spirit.

I'm going to make him put in another request and use up all the leave time he has so we can head to the States, visit family for a week, then head to Vegas for a week minus the little bundle. I figure drinking, gambling, showgirls, and naughtiness is just what he needs. Good memories to take with him over There.
