angry.
not in a good mood at all.
today i need to go get retainers for my monroe and nostril. for the wisdom teeth removal. i usually go to Staircase Tattoo in santa cruz to get pierced, but i'm not sure i like it there anymore.
everytime i go in there, i have to make a huge effort just to get the person who is helping me to actually listen to what i am saying. one time i was buying a new labret for my monroe, and they tried to sell me something i didn't even want (color/stone wise). they automatically just picked one out for me without even consulting me, and they actually thought i wouldn't care or at least not speak up for myself. this had nothing to do with the gauge/length. just aesthetics. it was so annoying.
the last time i was in there, i was trying to talk with that guy who was being a jerk, and this chick who looked "gothy" walked in. she had no peircings, no experience, and they treated her like she had a right to be there because of the way she looked. i listened to her talk, and she was a dumbass. at least i researched my shit before i went in there. jesus christ.
sorry, i just get treated like a bimbo a lot, and it wears on me.
it is also wayyyy expensive there. there are other quality places around, and they are not nearly as expensive.
moral of the story: i will not be taking my business to staircase anymore. especially not to get tatooed. could you imagine?
oh an also: i have always tipped my piercers very very generously, and i'm never a pain to work with. i even gave hugs one time (but that guy was nice). grrrr. no right to treat me like that. grrrrrrr.
sorry for the rant. it ends here.
in other news, i am now going out with the boy again.
not quite sure how that happened, but i think it will work out better this time. i feel like i at least have a handle on whats going on.
