I cried while doing the processing on this photo, then I wasn't sure I liked the final product, so I did it again. I'm not generally one to spoonfeed an analysis of my own photos to viewers, but I feel like this photo, in either form, says so much about how the whole collective of Penn State fans, players, and coaches feel at this point.





Don't get me wrong. We're not broken. The spirit is still there, that's why it hurts so much. We will overcome this senseless tragedy. We will mend ourselves and our communities. It will take time, but we will rise again.
