So, I had a pretty hardware-intense camera weekend this week in contrast to last week's ten-hour wedding shooting spree.

On Friday, I calibrated the autofocus in my D90. Saturday and Sunday were then spent playing with softboxes and shooting random things. A good deal of that time was spent on the shots above, to be used in this week's Farktography contest. While setting up and shooting my antiques, or at least the photogenic ones in working order, I thought about how much I've been neglecting film lately. So I resolved that my upcoming trip to VA Beach this July 2-4th will be film-only. A Vivitar 220/SL will be my primary body of choice packed to the gills with lots of velvia, and it'll be backed up by various pinholes and homebrews as well as a new-to-me Spinner 360. Now I have film fever and can't wait.
