The girl on the street:
Girl on the Street by Orionid, on Flickr
This shot from the G+ DC Photowalk is of a random person I passed on the street and got to pose for my reversed-lens Brownie Hawkeye Flash. Normally, I try to stay as incognito as possible when shooting strangers, but I was completely drawn in by her brightly colored clothing and large, toothy smile. So, emboldened by walking in a pack of photographers, I politely stopped her and asked for permission to take her photo with one of my antiques. After a barrage of questions to make sure I wasn't a perve or a creeper (and some goading from her friends), she agreed. If anyone knows who she is, I'd like to see that she gets a copy.
