My beautiful wild thing progresses, albeit slowly, due to many things, not the the least of which has been my recent addiction to No Man's Sky, a game I have played more hours of than any previous game (first time through), yet am deeply irritated by, and disappointed with. It has stolen over 80 hours of my life, without really living up to much of it's hype, even though it is a beautiful game, it is not what it promised to be, at all. Whatever. Video games are time thieves, I know that. I've also been engrossed in the book Ready Player One, which I blasted through in a few days... great read! It was recommended to me, by one of my sons, about 8 months ago, but I just bought it this week... it's content was kind of ironic, seeing as I was engrossed in what had purported to be the best, online video game of all time, at the time. And, even more ironic, whilst I was checking this post, as I always do, to make sure the links worked, I noticed that, next to the review for Ready Player One, is a review for No Man's Sky (:
