...interesting day...
I took my first in-person trip to Fascinations. It was fun interacting with the salesgirls who kept asking if I needed any help with anything. ("Uhhh, yeah... which would you recommend, the butterfly or the dolphin?")
Also, the craziest lady ever was on the bus. She was seriously schizo. She just kept shouting at everyone. She would ask for a cigarette and then couldn't understand when people said back to her. It was very weird. I got off the bus, walked to the next stop and caught the next one.
Finally, since I took the bus, I was walking home through the alley. Heh. If you all aren't aware, I'm a class-A dumpster diver. Well, the ugliest floor lamp ever was sitting out and since I was only a block from home, I brought it with me. It's a horrible horrible replica of an old-school hanging bulb lamp. The shade is spotted white glass and has clear beads hanging off of it. The stand itself is meant to look like aged bronze when it must be aluminum or something. It is the latest "conversation piece" added to my eclectic gathering of household items.
Oh... and I bought a toaster. Woo!

yeah, the worst is when you buy things there (fascinations) and they open them up and put batteries in and make sure it works and asks you if it is the right, um, strength.
