Well, the boy went back to his mom's yesterday. I was supposed to have a date last night but never heard back so I read the entire Harry potter book instead. It was actually pretty good. I had started reading it to him at bedtime on Saturday after we got it. I'll pick up with him where we left off when I get him back.

Leaving for Colorado to commune with nature on Thursday morning so he comes back Wednesday evening. That will be good.

It looks like we may have an agreement on the alimony thing. My lawyer got a call from her's yesterday with an offer. I just SO want this to all be finished.

On the plus side I have a date tonight with someone I actually like. She's a bit young for me (24) but I have known her for a few years professionally. She's a voice over actor too. I know I swore I would stay away from actresses but I really don't meet much of anything else. Plus she's in voice over it's a whole different vibe.

She didn't realize I was divorced now and was a bit startled when I asked her out. Once I told her though she said yes right away which really made me feel pretty good.

So.... a bit down at the moment but optimistic for the day. That's a pretty good outlook I think.
