Hi, everyone!
Admittedly, it's been a few months since my last actual blog. I apologize for that, but here's what I've been up to lately (-:
I completed my first semester of graduate school! One semester, that's it?? If only you guys knew... I've always been a student that, fairly effortlessly, achieves all A's in my coursework. Graduate school is tough. I was so proud of the two B+'s I earned this past semester. It was definitely a challenge! I also *finally* started seeing real clients! It was such a nerve wracking, but truly fulfilling experience. It's awesome to have that feeling of "man, I really chose the right career."
Continuing with the academic news... I submitted a research project for the very first time to a regional psychological conference, and I was accepted! I will present my project in March, & I'm so thrilled. Okay, mainly terrified... But thrilled nonetheless.
My personal life has been filled with seemingly endless drives, home renovation projects, learning how to cook, and weekly happy hours at our local bars (maybe twice a week... whatever).
Jeremy took a job out of state right when I started my school semester in the Fall. Talk about stressful! It was so strange studying, sleeping, & driving alone. But, for the most part, I managed. I made the drive to visit him a couple of times a month, so it was bearable. Recently, I've been on winter break, so I actually temporarily moved to Arkansas to be with him. It's been nice, but we're in such a small area with not much to do or see (that's coming from someone who lives in rural Mississippi!). I will be making the trek home in a few days, as my spring semester starts next week (-:
Thank you to everyone who stuck around during my absence on here! I've enjoyed catching up reading blogs & peeping sets (-;
Have a great week!!
