Now, what you are going to hear is a lot of off tune singing, some melodies that don't work, nonsensical lyrics, yet is something you hear on top 40 and video games. However, its the unconventionality of this song what makes this song so god damned brilliant. First to the lyrics:
How am I going to
Deliver you a mountain size of love?
How do oceans connected by a straw
Get something through?
I might need some time to remember
Need some time to remember
Hey! It's automatic when you know it
Hey! It's automatic when feel it
When do i lay down
And get to see the world inside your eyes?
How can i reach out
And hold on to the joy you've got inside?
Hey! It's automatic when you know it
Hey! It's automatic when feel it
I got some
But i wanna feel it every hour
Cuz i want to give it you
Hey! It's automatic when you know it
Hey! It's automatic when feel
Its almost bad poetry hour on this, yet the way he sings it, you can get past it all. And the guitar riff doesnt hurt either, but I digress. The lyrics are raw, they are stupid but they are easily understood, and when you hear it from his voice, it's beautiful as fuck. The fact that this song is imperfect makes it all the more perfect.
And like most things, you make it acoustic and it gets better. Throw in more guitars and vocals, and its even more greater. Which is why this has to be my favorite version of the song:

So why is this a love song? The opening line was right there, asking how can some one give another person a mountain size of love? At the time, I was crushing on this cutie and I never made a play for her. I heard this song and I was always thinking, how could I give her a mountain size of love? And not only that, but if my feelings were automatic when I saw her, were her's for me? Sadly, she didnt feel the same way, but this track is going to live on as a love song in my lifes soundtrack...
