I had a lot of fun on our trip. The time away gave me time to not only explore a lot of cool locations, but to also retreat within myself to stand at my center and refocus. Self-exploration, constant music, great books, wonderful art, delicious beer, yummy tater tots, and good company all tumbled together to inspire me to perhaps try new steps on a new path. Naima and I had the most passionate love-making I've ever experienced laying on a tiny bed in the moonlight beneath the illuminated Seattle skyline. The exploration on whether or not to "swing" in our life ended and the decision, in my mind, was made; rather than diverting my attention in a relationship that I felt was already sufficient, I would focus myself solely on Naima, more than I ever have, and push our love beyond and onto that next level. She seemed to concur.
In other news, I started my job at Bandai/Namco this week, on Tuesday. So far, things have gone okay. I spent the week in training, testing "Pac Man World 3" for the XBox. On Friday, before I left, I was handed my assignment for my first real project. It's an XBox 360 game, but I don't think I can name it, since I don't know if that breaks my NDA. The environment has its quirks, but for the most part, I have no real complaints.
We now have a small home theater in our bedroom that I have way fucking excited about. I am hopefully going to spend the better part of my afternoon cuddled up in our bed and enjoying it. I hope you find a similar nice place to relax and enjoy the rest of your Sunday!
Continuing on with the photos from Seattle...
